Person-centred therapy in Warrington – Northwich
All of us reach a point in our lives where we need some extra support and I understand that to meet with a counsellor can be a daunting thing, particularly if it is your first time in therapy.
The therapy I work with is called person-centred therapy. It is client led which means we only talk about what you wish to bring to each session and we work together at your own pace.
Previous clients report back a feeling of being in control which quickly takes away the fear element that many feel when starting therapy.
Trust, respect and honesty
I don’t and won’t judge you or tell you what to do. I will give you all the time and space you need to build the trust required, so that you feel that you can share your thoughts with me. Together we find the way forward that is uniquely best for you.
In our work together I am committed to offering you:
✓ Respect for you as an individual with the power to change
✓ Empathy to see the world from your point of view without judgement
✓ Honesty in our work together
Types of issues
I can help with you a wide range of issues, such as:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Eating disorders
- Loss and bereavement
- Relationship issues
- Trust issues
- Work related stress
Apart from the above mentioned I can also help you with issues such as addictions, family issues, feeling lonely and insecure, dealing with long-term illness, low self-esteem, sexuality issues and worrying too much.
I offer a free initial consultation by telephone to enable us to discuss your needs and any fears or questions you may have.
Please send me a message if you have any questions or if you would like to book an appointment.
